What you need to know

Base Camp Adventure

Base Camp is the adventure that makes use of all the activities Markant Outdoor Centre has to offer. Every day, fun new activities are on the programme: think of tough Robinson games, Highland games, archery, ziplining, and building a raft with a catapult. In addition to these camp-specific activities, there are also daily activities organised together with all Summer Campers in the same age group, such as Real-Life Cluedo, a night dropping, and a visit to the swimming pool. At the end of the day, you can relax around the campfire.

No long bus rides, but simply a whole week outdoors, full of adventure and fun. Base Camp is the place where you experience the best activities, make new friends, and discover something new every single day!

Arrival time for this camp is Sunday between 2:00 and 2:30 PM, and it ends on Saturday between 11:00 and 11:30 AM.

Where are you staying

Overnight Stay Base Camp | Markant Outdoor Center (Gelderland)
The Base Camp takes place, unsurprisingly, at the Base Camp of the Markant Outdoor Center in Braamt. The large site of the Markant Outdoor Center is the perfect location for many adventurous camp activities and exciting evening games.

Together with participants from other Summer Camps, you will stay on the campsite in group tents for around 6 people, and the beds are already in place. The campsite also has its own sanitary facilities. The large central tent offers space for everyone to gather during the day and in the evening. In case of bad weather, larger activities are also organized here. And of course, a campfire is a must, so you can end the evening sharing your stories of the day around the fire with fellow Summer Campers your age.

The on site restaurant is used by participants of all camps for breakfast, lunch or preparing packed lunches, and dinner.
