Are you adventurous and not afraid to get a little dirty? Then come to Adventure Camp, where you’ll take on all kinds of challenges for an entire week. Mountain biking, climbing, or building a raft — it’s all part of the fun. You’ll sleep in a self-built tent during a bivouac, cook primitively, enjoy an exciting visit to the Klimbos Achterhoek in Ruurlo, and spend a morning wakeboarding. Nothing is too crazy for you!

The Adventure Camp makes full use of the many activities available at the Outdoor Centre. You’ll climb the climbing tower and race through the Montferland woods on a mountain bike. You’ll also learn how to make strong knots and use them to build your own raft.
Experience thrilling climbing adventures at heights of 3 to 12 metres in Klimbos Achterhoek! You’ll also go on an exciting expedition and spend one night sleeping in a self-built tent. For dinner, we’ll cook over a self-made campfire using tree bark and a firestick, and you’ll even bake your own bread! You’ll go canoeing on the river Oude IJsel and, of course, as an adventure participant, you’ll also get the chance to go wakeboarding.
Besides all the action-packed activities, there’s plenty of time to relax on the sandy beach, by the campfire or during the party night. Want to enjoy a challenging and adventurous summer? Then sign up for the Adventure Camp!
The Adventure Camp is for teens aged 12–14 and 14–16 and takes place at the main location of Summer Camps Holland. During this summer camp, you’ll take part in all kinds of adventurous activities together with the other Adventure Camp participants. In addition to the activities with your own camp group, daily activities are organised for all teens in the same age category staying at the camp site. You’ll enjoy fun evening games like Real-Life Cluedo, visit the swimming pool together, and relax during movie night.
It will be a fun and social week where you’ll meet many fellow campers, make new friends, and take on exciting activities.
Arrival time for this camp is Sunday between 2:00 and 2:30 PM, and it ends on Saturday between 11:00 and 11:30 AM.

The Adventure Camp takes place at the Base Camp of Markant Outdoor Centre in Braamt. The large outdoor area is the perfect location for many adventurous camp activities and exciting (evening) games.
Together with participants from other Summer Camps, you’ll stay on the campsite in group tents for 4 to 8 people, equipped with beds. The campsite also has its own sanitary facilities. In the large central tent, everyone can gather during the day and in the evening. In case of bad weather, bigger activities will be held there as well. And of course, a campfire is a must — the perfect place to share the day’s adventures with fellow Summer Campers your age.
During the bivouac night, you’ll stay in tents on a different site. That’s why your packing list mentions bringing an air mattress or sleeping mat, as you’ll spend one night elsewhere. Due to limited space for luggage, bringing a sleeping mat is the most practical option.
The restaurant on site is used by participants of all camps for breakfast, lunch (or preparing lunch packs) and dinner.
