Have you always wanted to go wakeboarding or are you advanced enough to practice your flips or air raileys? If that’s what you’re in for, then be sure to enrol in the Wakeboard Camp. In addition you cross through the forest on the mountain bike, take part in the dropping and a lot of other fun activities.
Wakeboarding is the popular form of water skiing and is comparable to snowboarding. Due to the "wakes," many cool moves can be executed, such as flips, spins, air raileys, grabs, KGBs, or whirlybirds.
Right next to the Outdoor Center is the large recreational lake Stroombroek with the longest cable water ski track in the Netherlands (1,005 meters). For four mornings during this wakeboard camp, you will receive lessons in wakeboarding and water skiing. You don't need any experience; you'll see that after just one lesson, you can already water ski without falling. Even those with experience will find plenty to enjoy.
On the "rest day," you can let your arm and leg muscles recover, but for the rest of the week and in the evenings, you will still engage in other activities or relax with your friends by the campfire.
The arrival time for this camp is on Sunday between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM, and it concludes on Saturday between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
The Wakeboard Camp takes place at Markant Outdoor Center in Braamt. The extensive grounds of Markant Outdoor Center provide the perfect setting for numerous camp activities and exciting (evening) games.
You'll stay with participants from other Summer Camps on the campsite in group tents for 4 to 8 people, equipped with beds. The campsite has a large central tent where everyone can gather during the day and evening, as well as its own sanitary facilities. In case of bad weather, the large activity tent is frequently utilized. Of course, the campfire spot is not to be missed, providing the opportunity to share the day's adventures with other Summer Campers of your age around the fire in the evening.
The on-site restaurant is used by participants from all camps for breakfast, lunch (or preparing packed lunches), and dinner.
