By using this website and registering for one of our camps you indicate that you agree with this privacy statement. The summer camps are meant for children from 8 to 16 years. That is why your parents or legal representatives must also give permission for this.
Why do we process your Personal Data and what do we use it for?
We need information from you to contact you and for the organization and execution of your summer camp. We combine your Personal Data from all sources so that we can understand you better to improve and personalise your experience when interacting with us. We always take your privacy in regard. We use the data for the following purposes:
What data do we collect?
Personal data are all data that can be traced to you as a person. Like your name, phone number, address or e-mail address. But also data such as your IP address or your customer number are personal data. And other data that are unique to you, such as previously booked camps. Below is an overview of what information we process about you.
Brochure request
If you request a brochure from us, we process your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number and send it to a mailing list. When you book one of our camps, your details will also automatically end up in this mailing list and you will receive our brochure for the next 3 years. After 3 years we will remove your information from our mailing list.

If you apply for a job at Summer Camps Holland, the information you provide will be processed. This includes your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, Curriculum vitae, information about training, internships and work experience, information about training and other data that may be important in the context of the assessment of the suitability of the candidate.
This data is only accessible to the recipients of this information and the persons involved in the selection procedure and interviews. Summer Camps Holland uses this information before and during the application process. If you come to work at Summer Camps Holland, your data will be stored for a longer period of time.
How do we deal with data from the children
Summer Camps Holland processes data from children younger than 16 years in the registration form of our summer camps. This can only be done by the parent / caretaker. However, we cannot check whether a visitor to our website is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@summercamps.nl, then we will delete this information.
We only use your childs (rens) data for our summer camps and not for other purposes without the explicit consent of a parent or guardian.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not store and use your data for longer than necessary. When we don’t need your data any more we will remove everything we have from you. Some data is retained, but anonymous. For internal analyzes and reports such as the number of vacations sold. We keep certain deadlines, after which we delete your data:

In your personal 'MySummerCamps' account you can view your own details that you have entered when booking a camp. Do you want to change, delete, restrict usage, or adjust your email preferences? No problem, send an email to info@summercamps.nl

Photos and video footage from Summer Camps
We would like to show everyone how much fun the children have on our summer camps. We do this, for example, with photos and videos on our website and on our social media accounts. Of course we keep an eye on your privacy: we never mention personal details of children or parents in media. When you book a camp, you agree to our Terms and Conditions, by which you give us permission to use the images created for promotional purposes. Photos are carefully screened by the office prior to placement. Do you prefer that you are not (recognizable) in the picture at all? Send an email to info@summercamps.nl. We can edit or remove images.
During the summer camps we will upload photos of participants in a protected photo album on our website. Getting these photos requires a personal login name and a password. Only customers who have booked a camp at Summer Camps Holland will receive a login name and a password. Only the parents and children who went to camp in the same week can see these photos. Photos are carefully screened by the office prior to placement. Five months after the summer holiday all photos and reports are removed from the website. The image material is then stored indefinitely in a secure environment for promotional purposes.
Will my data be shared with third parties?
Summer Camps Holland will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide information if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data in our assignment, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Summer Camps Holland remains responsible for these processing operations.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
Summer Camps Holland uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy.
