Of course it is for parents reassuring to know that supervision of the holiday camp is of high quality standard. We realise that as parents you may feel somewhat anxious sending your child away on holiday for a week without you. Summer Camps Holland has an enthusiastic crew team and instructors who will convince you that your child is in good hands.
Crew members
Al lot of our crew members have a sports and/or pedagogical background. Often they themselves went to Summer Camps when they were young, so they know as no other the importance of expert guidance and coaching during camp week. Our crew realises that structure and quality coaching are perhaps more important to a successful holiday week than a flawless programme alone. Children must feel ‘at home’ at Summer Camps Holland. We also require a Certificate of Good Conduct from each of our crew members (Dutch: VOG).
One of the crew members is coordinator. The coordinator ensures that everything concerning the Summer Camps runs smoothly. He / she is the first point of contact for the crew with questions and problems and ensures that every day is evaluated.

Outdoor Team
Summer Camps Holland works with certified instructors for all its activities. In this way, we can guarantee the safety of the activities. We have experience with working with individual children and groups of children to ensure that every child gets the attention he or she needs. Our instructors are specifically trained in the supervision and coaching of activities.
What do we consider important in coaching?
At Summer Camps Holland we consider it important for our crew to start the holiday week well prepared. After their job interview, all crew members take part in our training weekend. During this weekend all the elements that we at Summer Camps Holland consider essential to deliver quality guidance and coaching are exhaustively rehearsed. The disciplines that we focus on are safety (physical and social), communication, conduct and attitude to others and the content of the programmes.
Certification Mark
The selection procedure, training and coaching of our crew is an important part of the screening process of the Dutch Certification Mark Children’s Holidays (Dutch: Keurmerk KinderVakanties). The Certification Mark is evidence that our crew comply with the high standards set by the Mark.
