Are you adventurous and absolutely love wild animals? Then you’ll feel right at home at this Animal Camp! Throughout the week, you’ll take part in fun activities all focused on animals. You’ll meet some of the cutest creatures in the world, the alpacas. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a real dairy farmer, and go exploring at Burgers’ Zoo and Hof van Eckberge!
Are you between 12 and 16 years old? Then check aour Animal Care Camp!
During this camp, you’ll dive into the world of all kinds of extraordinary animals and experience the coolest adventures. You’ll visit Hof van Eckberge, and you’ll also head into the wilderness at Burgers’ Zoo, where you’ll get up close with tropical plants, animals, and ecosystems. At our outdoor centre, you’ll discover your inner Robin Hood during archery, who will hit the bullseye?
At the alpaca farm, you’ll come face to face with the softest and cutest animals in the world. And at the dairy farm, you’ll learn what it takes to become the best farmer: from caring for cows to everything that comes with daily farm life.
Of course, there’s plenty of time in between for other adventures such as swimming, bowling, raft building, and much more!
Arrival time for this camp is Sunday between 2:00 and 2:30 PM.
We wrap up the week on Saturday between 11:00 and 11:30 AM.

The Animal Camp takes place at the Base Camp of Markant Outdoor Center in Braamt. The extensive grounds of Markant Outdoor Center provide an ideal location for many camp activities, including evening games, making a campfire, a night excursion, and of course, the talent show.
The round and ecological group accommodation on the Markant Outdoor Center premises serves as sleeping quarters for you and your peers. This unique building is primarily constructed from wood, features a grass roof, and has a fireplace in the center. The bedrooms are connected to the central hall and each room has three bunk beds.
The on-site restaurant is utilized for breakfast, lunch (or preparing packed lunches) and dinner.
