Summer Camps Holland has been organizing Summer Camps for children and youth in the Netherlands and the Ardennes for over 10 years! Our Camps are not only fun, but they are also safe. Quality and safety are guaranteed by the Dutch Certification Mark for Children’s Holidays (Dutch: Keurmerk KinderVakanties). Our outdoor activities are Tüv certified and we only work together with organisations who are members of the Dutch Outdoor Sports Association, VeBON (Dutch: Verening voor Buitensport Ondernemingen Nederland).
We form partnerships with high-quality partners, such as Markant Outdoorcentrum, Mountain Network and Sailing School Neptunus. They have dedicated in-house expertise and experience to guarantee a successful holiday week.
Certification Mark Children’s Holidays
The Certification Mark Children’s Holidays is the independent certification mark from the Dutch accreditation organisations of children’s holidays. Organisations permitted to display the certification mark have demonstrably shown their proven record of compliance with strict criteria for safety, hygiene and quality. We have annual audits by an independent auditing organisation and comply with the highest standards in the sector for children’s holidays.This certification mark is held by a small number of organisations only. Needless to say that this makes us proud owners indeed!
The criteria for the Certification Mark for Children’s Holidays comprise:
-Quality of the location and the general state of hygiene during the holiday week;
-Safety of the activities, the transport and the holidays in general;
-Quality, continuity and the internal administration of the organisation;
-Handling the privacy of youngsters and providing information to parents/participants;
-Education/training, selection and quality of the coaches and instructors of the holidays.
Dutch Outdoor Sports Association (Dutch: VeBON)
Markant Outdoorcentrum and Mountain Network are a member of the Dutch Outdoor Sports Association (VeBON). The association supports and advises its members in their organisation of outdoor sports acitivities and holidays. Memership with the Association is a guarantee for quality and safety.
Tüv Certified
Markant Outdoorcentrum and Mountain Network are Tüv certified. The Tüv Safety Standard specifies the requirements for a safety system. The Safety Standard is specifically aimed at outdoor sports organisations which are affiliated to VeBON (Dutch Outdoor Sports Association).
CWO Certification Sailing School (Dutch: Commissie Watersport Opleidingen)
Sailing School Neptunus is a CWO certified sailing school. This means that they are a member of the Commission Watersports Training Programmes. The CWO system comprises a number of different training programmes each with their respective certificates.
RECRON
Markant is also a member of RECRON (Dutch Recreational Association), the only sector organisation for the recreational accommodation and daytime recreation companies in The Netherlands.
Homeshopping Certification Mark (Dutch: Thuiswinkel Keurmerk)
The Homeshopping Certification Mark is the logo for safe and reliable webshop purchases, telephone sales, order coupons or telefax sales. Distant selling implies that there is no physical contact between you, the consumer, and the sales company. These deviant circumstances call for supplementary rules. Customers of Summer Camps Holland must be able to rely on our organisation’s strict compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
