Within the boundaries of VZR-Garant are all camps, children and youth camps advertised at the website www.summercamps.nl. The guarantee regulation of VZR-Garant means that the consumer is ensured for the travel sum to be refunded in case Summer Camps Holland is unable to deliver the performance agreed upon, in this case the summer camp, due to financial insolvability.

In order to meet its lawful obligation to provide a guarantee, Summer Camps Holland makes use of the guarantee scheme provided by VZR Garant (www.vzr-garant.nl/en). You can ensure our membership by visiting VZR Garant’s website and verifying that the organisation is listed as a participant. VZR Garant’s guarantee applies within the limits of its Guarantee Scheme (which can be found on VZR Garant’s website). The Guarantee Scheme specifies the exact (travel) offering to which VZR Garant’s guarantee applies and what the guarantee entails. Your payment in safe hands with STO/Garant
The payment of your Summercamps booking is paid to a third-party account. No camp = a direct refund!
We understand that the current situation gives uncertainty for booking a Summer Camp with our organization. Will the camp take place? Can I expect a refund if the camp is cancelled? As it is now, we can assume that our Summer Camps in July and August will take place and can thus be book now.
The Guarantee Scheme VZR gives certainty if we as organization cannot deliver the requested performance because of financial insolvency. The already booked and paid camps are part of the Guarantee Scheme. Of course, we hope that this will not be necessary!
To ensure 100% certainty and trust about the financial consequences, we have outsourced the payment of the camp to STO – Garant. You will pay the invoice of Summer Camps to a third-party foundation. Only after the camp has happened, our organization will receive the payment. This means that in case the camps have to be cancelled because of the Corona emergency decree, you will directly receive a refund of your payment! “Regular cancelations” will go according to your cancelation policy (art. 18 terms VeBON) of our terms and conditions.
Extra costs
STO-Garant requires extra costs per transaction. Summercamps pays the largest part of these costs but asks for an additional fee of €6, - per invoice to partly cover these costs. We hope this is a suitable agreement.
